Looking pumpkiny!
I airbrushed him just a little to help his colors pop, but that it optional. Cover the seem with a strip of black fondant to make his belt. Make his face with pieces of black fondant.
I often get asked where I get my ideas from, which can be all kinds of things. This project was inspired by this piece of clip art I stumbled upon while searching on the internet for something:
My little guy came out pretty much how I envisioned in my head; which rarely happens. So I was very pleased.
Hope you give him a try, he was a lot of fun to do!
Stray tuned for the next installment of my Thanksgiving Blog Blitz coming Friday!
Happy caking!

So cute!
Love this cake, Sharon! I'm going to make this cake to donate to The Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh, next week, for Thanksgiving dinner… I'm sure they kiddos will squeal with delight over him, too!!
Love It! What a great idea.
Love him! I squealed and giggled a number of times reading your post. You have great ideas. I made your pumpkin "pie" cake and everyone at my MOPS mom's night out, LOVED it and was very fooled. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
Sharon,
You must have read my mind! Was looking at one of your other Thanksgiving tutorials and someone mentioned the turkey cake balls. Was looking for that and viola! you sent out that one and several others. I think I have changed my mind and will do this cute little guy instead for place cards! Love all your creative ideas!
Another great creation. I just want to squeeze him. He needs a mate. The kids are going to love this as well as adults.
Thanks
Too cute for words. I will have to try him.
Sharon I love it that cute little and cute guy you are awsome.
Just so creative!
