					<description><![CDATA[I just finished up a huge (fed 75+) peppermint candy cane cake last week and made a really interesting discovery.  I have always used the round peppermint candies to crush, but this time I crushed a bunch of small candy canes from Sam&#039;s. The canes came out SO white, and I realized that the red stripes were only on the outside, whereas the round candies were all the way through.  Made a HUGE difference in how it looked! I know now to always use the circle peppermints - evven for this delicious looking fudge! Thanks for the recipe! PAT]]></description>
