In reply to candace. do you mean for the handle? In hindsight, since the handle broke, I probably should have done it in gumpaste. I use the fondant because it was identical match in color to the bottom of the basket.

Why did you choose to use fondant with added tylose instead of straight gumpaste? doesn’t gumpaste harden more? Can you explain the differences to me.

Amazing way to do basket cake. I have problem with rolling my fondant to be this straight & using my clay gun for d ropes. Can you teach me how to use clay gun. Thanks. Carol
